Are your drink drive policies up to the mark?

FORS_2804163Following Commercial Motor’s recent report of a driver being sentenced to six months in prison for dangerous driving and four months for drink driving, FORS would like to remind operators of their obligations under D2 Driving standards and D6 Driver fitness and health. Amongst other things D2 requires a written policy on driving standards at work and D6 requires that driver fitness and health is managed and that fleet operators will ensure that drivers are not impaired through drink, drugs or fatigue.

To help managers convey FORS requirements and company policies and procedures to their drivers FORS has recently produced a series of 13 toolbox talks including D2 Driving Standards and D6 Driver fitness and health.
