IN THE CLASSROOM – TRUCK DRIVERS
Safe Urban Driver Training
FORS continues to offer Safe Urban Driving (SUD) training aimed at commercial drivers operating HGVs regularly in the urban environment and where there are high volumes of vulnerable road users, such as cyclists and pedestrians.
TruckSmart driver training is a seven-hour training course for all commercial HGV drivers, focusing on the importance of driving roadworthy HGVs and the role of the driver in ensuring that vehicles and loads are safe and legal at all times.
IN THE CLASSROOM – VAN DRIVERS
If you are thinking about improving safety, increasing productivity and being kinder to the environment then you are thinking smart. Van Smart is the definitive route to best practice for van fleets of any size. This course can be taken instead of SUD if you are a van driver.
IN THE CLASSROOM – VAN AND TRUCK DRIVERS

An Introduction to FORS
This one hour webinar has been designed to help commercial transport departments and organisations understand the basics of the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) and to demonstrate how the scheme works.
Going for Bronze
Whether you are preparing for your audit for the first time or addressing issues raised at a previous audit, this workshop is specifically designed to guide and support you through the process from registration to Bronze accreditation.
Going for Silver and Gold
Whether you are preparing to submit your Silver or Gold application for progression for the first time or you are addressing issues raised in a previous submission, this workshop will guide and support you through the online application process.
We recognise that transport managers need support and development to help you with your busy everyday roles. In response FORS has developed the FORS Practitioner qualification, a series of ten workshops that provide the information you need to boost the performance of your transport operation. If your FORS Practitioner is expiring, FORS has designed a FORS Practitioner Recertification workshop aimed at Practitioners wishing to renew their certification. To find out more about the workshop and book a place please click here.

The course equips delegates with the knowledge and skills required to effectively perform the duties of the formally appointed ‘responsible person’, maintaining continuous and effective control of the fleet operation as required by M3 of the FORS Bronze Standard.
LoCITY Driving is a new DVSA-approved, CPC-accredited training course aimed at van and HGV drivers, as well as transport managers. The course aims to give attendees the knowledge and skills needed to cut costs and minimise the environmental impact of fleet operations.
